- Maison Agrapart was founded in 1894 in the heart of Avize, one of the most prestigious Grand Cru Villages of the Côte des Blancs. For four generations, the family has worked almost exclusively with Chardonnay Grand Cru, grown in parcels distributed between Avize, Oger, Cramant, Oiry and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger.
- Today, Fabrice Agrapart, along with Johanna Bertilsson Stephen and Emmanuel Turpin, leads the new independent project Agrapart Avize, dedicated to the ultimate expression of terroir. Their approach is essential: vineyards cultivated using organic and biodynamic practices, spontaneous fermentations, parcel-by-parcel vinification, long aging on the lees, and no fining or filtration.
- Spontaneous fermentations, no clarification or filtration, long aging on the yeasts.
- Aged in 228-liter oak barrels (eighth passage). Matured in wood starting from the harvest and on its own lees for 2 years.
