Cantillon - Cuvee Saint Gilloise - Bottled 2019

To preserve the finesse of the hops, the lambics selected for Cuvée Saint-Gilloise are elegant and refined so as not to disturb the balance between acidity and bitterness. As there is no blending with young lambic, as there is for gueuze, and no added fructose, as there is for fruit beers, the secondary fermentation of Cuvée Saint-Gilloise in the bottle takes place with the addition of liquid sucrose. Like all beers produced at Brasserie Cantillon, Cuvée Saint-Gilloise can be stored for a long time in a good cellar, but like all hopped beers, it is best drunk young to fully enjoy the floral aspect of the hops.
