  • Craigellachie malt is renowned for being full-bodied, rich, and oily, thanks primarily to the presence of Worm Tubs, condensers that reduce contact between the distillate and copper, preserving its sulphurous components. This results in a fragrant and intense distillate, which gains further complexity from Craigellachie's characteristic long fermentation: fruit and body, what more could we ask for?
    Indeed, when we tasted this barrel, we immediately fell in love with it, because the fruity component is supported and enhanced by notes of warehouse, cellar, toasted dried fruit, and buckwheat cake.
