Partida Creus - XLA23 - 2023

Celler Partida de Creus is a small winery conceived by Antonella Gerosa and Massimo Marchiori, located in an industrial warehouse renovated with recycled materials. Slow Food members and producers, they apply this philosophy to their vineyards, fully respecting nature and reviving ancient traditions in the lands they cultivate.
Celler Partida de Creus owns small plots with a narrow planting pattern, thus avoiding invasive mechanical work. This, combined with the absence of chemical treatments and the emphasis on biodynamic cycles and lunar phases, results in a very limited production of grapes of excellent organic quality.
Partida Creus Xarel·lo Ancestral is a sparkling wine produced using the ancestral method, with Xarel·lo from its own vineyards located on clay-limestone soils.
The harvest is manual. Once in the cellar and after direct pressing, the wine ferments in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts. Fermentation is completed in the bottle, where it rests on its own fine lees for a minimum of 10 months. No added sulfites.
