  • The most famous cat in Scotch Whisky history is "Towser the mouser", responsible for catching almost 30,000 dangerous mice that threatened the malt at Glenturret Distillery - Glenturret even erected a statue at the entrance to the facility in honor of his illustrious memory. It seemed only right for us to pay tribute to him as well, as part of a series dedicated to cats: and the image, both romantic and unsettling, seems to allude to the trail of rodent blood that Towser left behind him on the grim nights of Speyside...
    Ruadh Mhor is the peated version of Glenturret: and peat is truly the star here, with aggressive notes of smoke, flames, hatred for mice, something petrochemical mixed with tonic water, ash, and burnt rubber. The Octomore of WhiskyFacile, a tribute to Scotland's most ferocious serial killer.
